Ganesh Visarjan is the concluding day of Ganeshotsav, when the Ganesha idol is ceremonially immersed in a river, lake, or sea. This marks the return of Lord Ganesha to his abode on Mount Kailash. The visarjan procession is one of the most festive and emotional events of the year — with dhol (drums), music, dancing, and the iconic chant "Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya" (Come again soon next year). The 10th day Visarjan (Anant Chaturdashi) is the grandest.
