Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Shubh Kaalam mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Shubh Kaalam provides personalised Hindu Panchang, Kundli, astrological charts, dasha timelines, and related features based on the birth details you provide. The App is offered on a freemium basis — certain features require an active paid subscription.

Astrological content is provided for entertainment and cultural informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise). You should not make important life decisions based solely on content from the App.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• You authenticate using your phone number via a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your phone number and account secure.
• You may create up to 4 birth profiles per account. Each profile must represent a real person and accurate birth details.
• You may use the App on a limited number of registered devices per account. We reserve the right to enforce device limits to prevent account sharing.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the App.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription or device-limit restrictions.
• Submit false or misleading birth details to manipulate astrological output.

All content in the App — including astrological calculations, charts, text, graphics, and the App design — is the intellectual property of Shubh Kaalam or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without written permission.

Your birth data and personal profiles remain your own. By entering this data you grant us a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of providing the App's features to you.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Astrological content is cultural and for entertainment purposes only — we make no claim of accuracy in predicting future events.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shubh Kaalam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice or refund. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via a notice in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
